Selina became a full member of East Anglian Chambers in October 2015. She accepts instructions across a range of chambers’ specialisms.
Selina Bungsraz graduated with a First in Law from King’s College London in 2012 and went on to receive a BPTC Exhibition Award and Duke of Edinburgh Entrance Scholarship from Inner Temple. She completed the BPTC at City Law School in London, achieving an “Outstanding” in her Civil Advocacy, Criminal Litigation, Company Law and Landlord and Tenant Law modules.
Selina appears regularly in county courts across the South-Eastern Circuit, notably in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. She is happy to travel further if required. In addition, she has a developing paperwork practice and is happy to complete urgent paperwork.
Her workload and experience spans across various areas of civil law including property, housing, commercial and personal injury.
Selina regularly appears in Children Act proceedings and injunction proceedings. She has a developing practice in care work and is keen to undertake work in this area. Selina particularly enjoys working with vulnerable and sensitive clients. Her Pro-Bono work and experience at the Criminal Bar have equipped her with the skills required to deal with clients facing highly distressing situations. She takes a sensitive, tailored approach to every case.
