Miss Caroline Bryant (LL.B.)

Following qualification Caroline was a member of the editorial team of Halsbury’s Laws of England. In 1986, she left behind purely academic work to join CPS Suffolk where she specialized in the prosecution of sexual crime. Caroline changed direction again in 1996 and joined East Anglian Chambers combining her criminal work with Family proceedings principally involving children who have been abused. Since then Caroline has expanded her work to include Matrimonial Finance and Cohabitation and regularly appears in the High Court in both Care and Adoption proceedings. She is recommended for children work in the publication “Legal 500” and is regarded by solicitors as approachable and sympathetic to vulnerable clients including parents with learning difficulties or mental health problems.

Caroline is the Ipswich Centre Head, sits on the Chambers Management Committee and is a member of the Suffolk Family Justice Council.

When not working Caroline enjoys walking and skiing with her husband at their home in the Italian Alps.
