Cherie Parnell

Although her grandparents were English Cherie was brought up in America but has lived in England now since 1989.

Prior to being called to the Bar Cherie worked for a firm of solicitors for five years whilst undertaking her degree at the University of East Anglia. As a result, her understanding of the workings of a law firm means she fully appreciates the pressures and constraints under which solicitors work.

Cherie Parnell specialises in Family Law including all aspects of private child law including complex residence/contact disputes, domestic violence cases, matrimonial finance and public law children matters.

She is able to establish a good rapport with clients whatever their background and can be both understanding and tough. She is known as a ‘fighter’ for her client’s interest and is passionate about her work. She believes that it is very important to work in partnership with solicitors. Cherie is reliable and forthright and can be trusted to work hard for her clients.
