Christopher Pigram BMus (Hons)

Following several years working as a professional musician, Christopher Pigram was called to the Bar in 2000. Since that time he has developed a busy civil and employment law practice.

Christopher was appointed as Junior Counsel to the Crown (Regional Panel) in November 2007 for a period of five years. He is 'recomended' in the Legal 500 for employment work.

Christopher appeared in the case of Uwanya-Odu and another v Schools Offices Services and another, UKEAT/0294/05/ZT (Independent, December 01, 2005; LTL 01/12/2005). This case dealt with strike out provisions under Rule 13(2) of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2004 and is discussed in depth in  Solicitors Journal S.J. (2005) Vol.149 No.47 page 1479.

In 2002 Christopher was instrumental in establishing a relationship between East Anglian Chambers and Mid-Suffolk Citizens' Advice Bureau. Since that time barristers from chambers have provided advice and representation on a pro-bono basis to the CAB's clients.
