Lynne Shirley
RGN, RM, LLB (East Anglia), Diploma in Professional Legal Studies

Lynne comes from a military and medical background having served in the regular Army for 8 years.  Her experience of army life means that Lynne has a detailed understanding of military procedure and its impact on the Criminal Justice System.  Clients will gain from Lynne’s knowledge of the court’s martial procedure as she sat as a member on the Courts Martial Board and has been instructed in courts martial proceedings.

She regularly appears in the Crown Court both prosecuting and defending.  Her work ranges from cases involving allegations of serious sexual and violent offences to immigration.  She has established good working relationships with both CPS and Defence solicitors.   

Lynne’s personal interests include sailing, drama and travel.
