Alison was called to the Bar in 1997 and is a member of the F.L.B.A. She practises throughout East Anglia and into London, covering all aspects of Family Law. Alongside her predominantly Family Law Practice, Alison undertakes private prosecutions for a number of bodies.Alison also co-ordinates and arranges all mini-pupillages undertaken at the Colchester and Chelmsford Centres.
Public Law:
Acting on behalf of Local Authorities, parents and Guardians, from the commencement of care proceedings through to adoption.
Private Law:
Alison is regularly instructed in Children Act Matters, particularly Contact and Residence disputes. She also represents both Applicants and Respondents in Domestic Violence matters.
Ancillary Relief:
Undertaking both privately and publicly funded work.
Interests:
When Alison is not in Barrister mode, she is a keen horse rider, enjoys shopping, travelling, shopping, going to clubs, shopping, music, the cinema, shopping, food (particularly chocolate), the theatre and oh shopping!
