Civil

Micaila is well known for her ability to relate to her clients (solicitors and lay clients alike) without compromising her professionalism. She accepts instruction in all basic civil matters including Breach of Contract, Road Traffic Disputes and Civil ASBOs.

Family

Micaila has experience in a variety of family related cases including residence Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders and various injunctions including Non-Molestation Orders and breaches thereof.
She has had conduct of many contact disputes of varying degrees of complexity.
Micaila also accepts instructions in care proceedings, acting on behalf of mother, father or other interested parties.

Employment

Micaila has recently resumed her Employment practice having had a break for a number of years.  She has represented both employer and employee in cases of constructive and unfair dismissal and redundancy, to name a few.

 

Public access

Micaila is now able to accept instructions directly from a lay client in matters of crime, family, employment and basic civil disputes.

Pro bono

She also accepts instructions from the Bar Pro Bono Unit, helping those who might otherwise be without representation.

Interests

She lives in Braintree with her husband Paul and young daughter.  Together they like to spend time with their family, attend the theatre and socialise with friends.
