Amy joined East Anglian Chambers after relocating to Essex, previously having been a tenant in London.
Amy’s practice covers all aspects of family law. She has experience in dealing with cases at many different levels, from the Family Proceedings Court to the High Court, in both public and private law, as well as in connection with ancillary relief.
Amy is regularly instructed to act on behalf of parents, grandparents, guardians and special guardians in care proceedings. Cases have involved issues of domestic violence, addiction, non-accidental injuries and psychiatric illness.
Her practice also includes all aspects of private law proceedings, including contact and residence disputes and applications for non-molestation and occupation orders under the Family Law Act 1996.
Amy previously gained valuable experience from her work on secondment at Bexley Council Legal Services Care Department and with a firm of family law solicitors.
