Business Tenancies

Business tenancies can give rise to a whole range of issues including security of tenure under Part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, rent review, forfeiture for breach of covenant and terminal dilapidations claims.
Business tenancies give rise to all the common disputes between a Landlord and Tenant, including disputes over arrears of rent, disrepair and dilapidations on termination, breach of covenant, unlawful user, annoyance and nuisance of other tenants, relief from forfeiture and possession proceedings under statutory grounds under 1954 Act.
