Family

Jonathan maintains a busy Court practice across the spectrum of family law matters. He is regularly instructed on private children matters from initial advice through to fact-finding hearings and contested final hearings and always gives sensible and considered advice throughout. He also undertakes care work on behalf of all parties including parents and children and receives regular instruction from Local Authorities in the region including often on an urgent basis.

Jonathan has an established practice in matrimonial finance matters, including Schedule 1 applications, both attending hearings at all stages and assisting with advice at crucial stages in the proceedings. His always practical advice and willingness to commit to lengthy negotiations means that he has an excellent record of achieving favourable settlements on behalf of clients.


Civil

Jonathan has substantial experience across a broad range of civil matters. He accepts instructions in fast track and small claims trials, disposal hearings, and interim applications, and has represented individuals, companies and public bodies.
